What to do about the rising price of gas was the number one question I got during a recent Instagram Q & A. Unfortunately, the Biden administration's disastrous policies have caused this crisis, so Congress needs to do the exact opposite. That means enacting policies to make the United States energy independent and increase supply so that prices come down.

Today, Monday, June 13, a letter was hand delivered to La crosse Mayor Mitch Reynolds asking him to veto Section 32-191 of the Code of ordinances that bans conversion therapy in La Crosse. By law the mayor has until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, to veto this unconstitutional ordinance.

I am fed up with the senseless and pathetic Evers administration.
In 2021, Evers proposed over $1 billion in tax increases on Wisconsinites. He had to bail out small businesses with federal funds after damaging them with lockdowns in 2020. Evers paid people not to work, drove up the cost of labor, and ran an incompetent Department of Workforce Development.
This week the House of Representatives reconvened for legislative activity after a two-week recess. I also held a Telephone Town Hall with my friend and colleague Rep. Jim Jordan (OH-4) to talk to folks back home about the issues that matter most to them. (More on that a little later).

The La Crosse City Council will vote on a new ordinance at their full meeting this Thursday, June 9, at 6:00 p.m. This ordinance will make conversion therapy illegal in the city of La Crosse to anyone under the age of 18 years old. Conversion therapy is described as “any treatment or counseling that seeks to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity including efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings of the same gender.”
