Saving lives! (But our work isn’t over)

We had an incredible Friday when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Our fight in the pro-life movement isn’t over yet, though. In early May, I wrote a column about how being pro-life is being pro-baby and pro-woman. Our state needs to keep promoting a culture of life and success for families, and that means supporting moms and babies!

Two MAJOR victories... But we still have SO much to do

Can you believe it?

Last week was a HUGE victory in the Supreme Court in the fight for self-governance and freedom.

In case you missed it….

Concealed carry gun rights were reaffirmed AND…

  • Roe v. Wade was overturned

What a crazy week in politics. This was a critical moment in our nation’s history that determined our outlook on self-protection and protection of the unborn.

History was made. All thanks to great patriots who, in times of trial, chose not to waver in their core values.

Dearest Father in Heaven, thank you for guiding the United States Supreme Court to restore the human rights of unborn children! Please forgive our people for the millions of murders of innocent children committed in abortion clinics. Provide us with the strength to promote your love in the face of the coming hatred we are about to witness. Touch their hearts and help them turn from their evil ways. In Jesus' name. Amen.

It’s been a busy week in Washington. This week the Supreme Court released a number of opinions including the final version of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade. Today’s landmark ruling is a historic victory for human rights, this decision paves the way for us to protect all life.

The Second Amendment was also on the docket – both in the Court and on the Hill. While the Supreme Court upheld and protected our constitutional right to bear arms, Congress was simultaneously considering legislation to erode it.

Today’s decision is a victory for unborn babies across America. Countless lives will be saved because of the wisdom of the current Supreme Court.

Abortion harms both moms and babies. After this win, the pro-life community can focus all of our efforts to supporting moms, dads, and their babies to promote a culture of life and success for families.

The Supreme Court has spoken. Those of us who believe that life is a gift from God can take heart that the highest Court in our land has affirmed this principle. As Wisconsinites and Americans we all have an obligation to honor today’s decision, and to remain peaceful and calm.

Let there be no misunderstanding, I’ll always defend life and enforce Wisconsin law.

Wisconsin Family Action: Roe v. Wade Overturned

Today is the day that pro-lifers have been anticipating for 50 years. Finally, SCOTUS has reestablished justice and overturned the erroneous decision of Roe v. Wade with its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

The court has rejected the false notion that a “right” to abortion exists in the Constitution, meaning states are now free to establish bans on abortion. Our efforts to protect the unborn are no longer hindered by a fallacious and evil ruling that invented a non-existent “right.”

Today is a historic day and an incredible win for every unborn baby in America's right to LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!

On Wednesday, Governor Evers called the Legislature in for a special session and demanded we create a right to abortion in Wisconsin law for the first time since 1849. Instead, we stood for every unborn babies' RIGHT TO LIFE. We gaveled in, gaveled out, and upheld that Wisconsin stands for life!

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy Joined me yesterday in La Crosse to discuss the impact of Biden and Pelosi’s failed economic policies on Wisconsin farmers. First, we held a roundtable with local farmers and agriculture business owners, then toured Morning Star Dairy farm in Onalaska.

Leader McCarthy got to see firsthand the impact that the failed Biden agenda is having on Wisconsin farmers, something I am seeing every day as I travel the 3rd District.

Take a look at some of the coverage from yesterday below:
