BREAKING: Wisconsin has officially become the sixteenth state to pass the COS Resolution calling for an Article V Convention of States!

A huge congratulations to our entire team in Wisconsin who have worked tirelessly to secure today’s victory. This success has been years in the making, but the message it sends is clear.

We the People are fed-up with the federal government's ever-increasing disregard for our constitutional rights. It’s time to rein in the ruling class in D.C. and return power to where the Founders’ intended — the states.

Bi-Partisan Panel Talks Dairy

I joined Reps. Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) and Don Vruwink (D-Milton) along with Sen. Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing dairy farming in Wisconsin. One prominent item that has support from both sides of the aisle is the bill that I've introduced with Rep. Loren Oldenburg (R-Viroqua) to reform the state's Farmland Preservation Program.

Caucus Season

Grassroots across the state are now gathering in Republican Party caucuses. These are the decision-making meetings that guide individual county efforts. I go to as many as I can and I can tell you that GOP county parties are growing. More conservatives are running for local offices, signing up to be poll workers, and engaging in their kids’ education systems. To get involved in your county party, email volunteer@rebeccakleefisch.com.

I’m Running to be your Governor

At a crucial point in history, Wisconsin has lost its way. Our state and our society are being torn apart by a shameless and ineffective political class whose leadership failures have destroyed businesses and crushed Wisconsin’s economy. Our children are taught the intellectual poison of critical race theory, which encourages them to hate each other based on their race. Our very notion of law and order is falling apart before our eyes as violent crime skyrockets. Our elections are a mess, and our politicians seem incapable of cleaning them up.

Law Enforcement Package Passed in Assembly

The law enforcement support package was passed this week, mostly along party lines. Democrats would rather side with their governor than stand with law enforcement officers.

There has been a condemnation of those who put their lives on the line to protect their communities. I am proud that my Republican colleagues and I took action to support those who serve and protect us and help reverse the trend of police officers leaving the workforce.

It’s official, Ron Johnson is running for re-election and returning in his fight for our freedom in Washington.

Ron is a tested and proven conservative, who truly represents the people of Wisconsin. He believes in funding our police, protecting our border, and keeping our schools open. I have no doubt he will continue to be a strong voice in the U.S. Senate, and that’s why I’m proud to be supporting him.

Biden's Record of Failure

Biden's first year in office has been a year of failure.

Out of control spending. Record inflation. Raging COVID. Afghanistan disaster. Emboldening our adversaries. Crisis at the border. Increased crime. Deepening division.

Biden said he "outperformed" expectations. I'm not sure what planet he's inhabiting but on planet Earth his record is a record of failure. Listen to my remarks from the news conference here.

Common Sense for Election Integrity

If you want an article that discusses the voting act issues, look up "Is Ensuring Election Integrity Anti-democratic?" by John R Lott, Jr. from September '21. You'll find a rational, point by point breakdown of recommendations in a bipartisan report. "I]n 2005, the Carter-Baker Commission on Federal Election Reform issued a report that proposed a uniform system of requiring a photo ID in order to vote in U.S. elections. The report also pointed out that widespread absentee voting makes vote fraud more likely.
