Weaponizing our justice system

The left has weaponized our justice system and politicized our legal system which is supposed to be blind. They say they are defending democracy but they are eroding it.

It’s a clear reminder of what’s at stake in November and the lengths Democrats will go to undermine our institutions.

Victory in November is the only way we’ll stop them! We must stand together.

Trump Convicted - Surprised? We Aren't!

There was never a question that the left is engaging in lawfare to thwart the MAGA movement in America. Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, if the facts are with you, use the facts, if they are not, pound the table. Of course what he meant was if you don't have a case, put on a show. And anyone with a brain can see that the Democrat Party and the left has no case against Trump or his policies that put America first... But boy oh boy, can they put on a show!!!

Humbling Memorial Day

It’s humbling to think of the sacrifices that have made our freedom possible.

I started my Memorial Day weekend in Milwaukee on Friday for the dedication ceremony of the War Memorial Center's Field of Flags. It featured 27,316 American flags — each one representing a Wisconsin hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The flags will be in place through May 30. It's a sight to behold and give thanks.

Remember and Honor

Memorial Day was originally established as Decoration Day in 1868, three years after the end of the Civil War, by the Grand Army of the Republic, to honor those killed in America's bloodiest war.

Memorial Day became an official federal holiday in 1971. In 2000, Congress passed legislation creating the National Moment of Remembrance at 3pm local time.

No matter what we call it, the meaning of Memorial Day remains the same through all of America's history: to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

This Memorial Day weekend and every day, it is important to honor those who have paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today: Our veterans and fallen heroes.

Millions of brave Americans have been willing to put their lives on the line to protect our flag, our loved ones, and our way of life. Because of their sacrifices, we are able to live in the freest country in the world.

To our fallen heroes and Gold Star families: Thank you.

To all the veterans, service members, and their families: Thank you.

Backing the 2024 Farm Bill, Championing Provisions for Wisconsin’s Farmers

For the first time in over a decade, Wisconsin had a seat at the table in building the Farm Bill. We are America’s Dairyland and one of the leading states in the country for soybean, corn, and potato production, so this is one of the most important bills we have completed this Congress that directly impacts the people in my district. America’s farmers and agricultural producers provide not just for our nation, but also for the world, and this year’s Farm Bill delivers for those who keep us fed, fueled, and clothed.

Schnitzler in short

I’m a lifelong Monroe County resident calling rural Sparta my home for 54 years. I grew up in a faith-based home, my mother was a factory worker, and dad was most of the time a self-employed roofer. We were a blue-collar working family.

At the age of 16 I started with a three-thousand-dollar loan to buy the heifers that ultimately become my base for a milking herd. I spent the next 30 years dairying. Later, I partnered with my father who had been running a recycling business for about 15 years. I currently have a small cow calf beef operation in partnership with my brother.

In a recent report from the Joint Economic Committee, it was found that the average Wisconsin household is paying $952 more per month for the same goods and services compared to January 2021. Cumulatively, the average Wisconsin household has spent $22,932 more due to inflation since January 2021. Since President Biden took office, inflation has risen by nearly 20%, forcing Americans across the nation to spend over tens of thousands more annually than they did just three years ago.

Fighting for the Healthcare Access Rural Wisconsin Deserves

Rural Wisconsinites should not be pushed to the sidelines ever, but especially when it comes to medical care. Folks are still struggling to find accessible healthcare following the HSHS and Prevea Health closures in western Wisconsin, and I want to make sure we are doing all we can to get the people of the Third District the resources they deserve.
