Humbling Memorial Day

It’s humbling to think of the sacrifices that have made our freedom possible.

I started my Memorial Day weekend in Milwaukee on Friday for the dedication ceremony of the War Memorial Center's Field of Flags. It featured 27,316 American flags — each one representing a Wisconsin hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The flags will be in place through May 30. It's a sight to behold and give thanks.

On Memorial Day, I was in northwest Wisconsin. I had the honor of attending the 25th anniversary ceremony for the Clear Lake Veterans Memorial in Polk County. It is located within the cemetery surrounded by fallen heroes.

I also visited Memorial Park in Ladysmith and then stopped by the VFW Hall in Medford. Everywhere I went yesterday, I found nothing but respect and thanks from Wisconsinites who recognize the ultimate sacrifice made by one million Americans since our country's founding. Let us all dedicate ourselves to honoring this sacrifice by healing and unifying this great country.

I hope you had a meaningful Memorial Day.

Here is what bothers me so much. American patriots save America and the World, and now we are allowing Socialist, Marxist, and evil Democrats to destroy what these great Americans did for me and my children. The Great expeirement of America is teetering on destruction from within, and we must stop it.
