I’m proud to announce major conservative endorsements in our fight to take back Wisconsin: Vice President Mike Pence & Senator Ted Cruz.

They join Gov. Scott Walker, Gov. Kim Reynolds, Ambassador Nikki Haley, Wisconsin Right to Life, Wisconsin Family Action, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, the majority of Wisconsin sheriffs, the Milwaukee Police Association, the Kenosha Professional Police Association Board, the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police and the Wisconsin Firearm Owners Association.

It's hard to believe, but we are only 12 days until the primary election on August 9! After over 10 months on the campaign trail, traveling more than 70,000 miles criss-crossing the Badger State to hear from Wisconsinites in every corner, our first election day is almost here!

Today, I stopped by the Hull Municipal Building and cast my vote early and in-person. With only 12 days left on the campaign trail and over 35 events on the books, I wanted to make sure I got my vote in now, so that I can continue hearing from Wisconsinites like YOU.

Something I love…

My favorite parts of the day are when I get the chance to speak with fellow Wisconsinites. It’s amazing to connect with people, whether it’s bumping into them at a local cafe, Kwik Trip, or one of the many county fairs and festivals across Wisconsin, I am always glad to stop and chat.

worst economic periods in recent memory

Joe Biden and Democrats’ priorities have resulted in one of the worst economic periods in recent memory.

Earlier this month it was reported that inflation has hit 40-year highs, and reports now say that this is the second straight quarter of GDP decline. Yet the Biden administration is more focused on redefining the word “recession” than fixing their own disastrous economic policies that two-thirds of Americans oppose. They’re even trying to spin this disaster by trying to celebrate that “the price of the pump is now $4.30 a gallon.”

I have crossed this beautiful state to share my vision for Wisconsin

It is almost a full year since my announcement for Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor in August 2021 and now the election is two weeks away. With over 60,000 miles traveled from Florence County to Polk County to Kenosha County, I have crossed this beautiful state to share my vision for Wisconsin.

I am beyond grateful and humbled by the support the people of Wisconsin have shown me. Recently, my daughter and I stopped at a gas station in the Northwoods between events. My daughter was wearing a David Varnam T-shirt and was stopped by an individual who wanted to share their support.

This week the Bureau of Economic Affairs confirmed what Americans have been feeling for quite some time – the United States is officially in a recession.

The report released on Thursday morning showed that we had negative economic growth for the second quarter in a row, which should come as no surprise to Telegram readers as we’ve been warning you about the possibility of a recession due to Biden’s terrible economic policies for months now.

Show the Dems what democracy looks like

Faith in our elections is the foundation of the faith in our democratic republic.

You may remember when I took on the liberal mob with Scott Walker, and the protesters liked to shout at us, "This is what democracy looks like." But mob rule isn't democracy. Voting at the ballot box is democracy.

Under Tony Evers, democracy and election security are truly under attack. Tony Evers has blocked every attempt at election reform.

We cannot sit by while Wisconsinites walk away from our election process entirely.

What I Saw at the Southern Border

On Friday, I visited the southern border near McAllen, Texas to witness first-hand the horrors of Joe Biden's border crisis. As the former Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, I've visited the border several times, most recently in March 2021. President Joe Biden has not visited the border as President.

I participated in a night tour with law enforcement and an aerial tour led by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). I also met with local landowners.

It was a blistering hot day with temperatures approaching 90°, but that didn’t stop an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 300 supporters of Tim Michels from rallying with the candidate late Monday afternoon in Mount Pleasant.

Before Michels took the stage, attendees were entertained by the band Koltrane. Sue Lynch, who has been a conservative activist for decades and who had been with Kevin Nicholson’s campaign, addressed the crowd and offered a vigorous and enthusiastic endorsement of Tim Michels, a former 12-year U.S. Army Ranger Officer and successful businessman.

At the Thursday July 14, 2022, La Crosse City Council meeting, the Council decided to Reconsider the Ordinance that they hoped to enact last month banning conversion therapy for children under the age of eighteen. It was learned that the City Attorney, Stephen Matty, requested of a council member to have the Ordinance reconsidered. The Council did vote to reconsider and after a nearly hour long Closed Door Session the Council decided to Refer the matter for sixty days (without direction).
