Consequences for Kind's Lies?

As a lifelong Wisconsinite, I feel a need to call attention to Representative Ron Kind’s continued partisan political games and failure to serve the people he was elected to represent in Washington. Representative Kind would rather lambast his congressional opponent, Derrick Van Orden, in the press than discuss pertinent issues with lawmakers and Wisconsin residents alike. Kind is evidently attempting to shift the focus from his failed record in Washington with political sleight of hand

Getting Wisconsin Back to Work

The governor has finally connected the dots and acknowledged there is a workforce crisis in our state. Since his one-size-fits-all emergency order, employers have struggled for over a year to stay open and find workers. Now, 500 days later, he finally acknowledges the dire challenges small businesses are facing.

This is a year-long pattern of failed leadership in managing the UI disaster for displaced workers throughout 2020 and now desperate employers fighting for survival.

Kind In Desparation

It brings a smile to my face when I consider how desperate Ron Kind and his Marxist-Democrat allies have become. There seems to be a never-ending pileup of propaganda from Ron’s immoral friends who deceive readers of local papers with conspiracy theories about a so called ‘insurrection’ on January 6th. How stupid do they think we are? According to eyewitness testimony in senate hearings there wasn’t one weapons charge on January 6th but we’re supposed to believe it was a coup to overthrow the government? C’mon man!

Republicans once again led the way on the biennial state budget. On Thursday, the governor signed the most conservative budget in a generation into law.

Republicans threw out his overly costly and unrealistic proposal filled with divisive policy items after it was introduced in January. Instead, we crafted a budget that funds Wisconsin’s priorities like education, roads and long-term care while providing relief to hard working taxpayers.

Less than two weeks ago the news was President Biden was coming to western Wisconsin to visit a dairy farm (or a dairy industry related location) for a political speech and, one would have to assume, a photo-op. This was rumored to be east of the city, perhaps in Monroe County, and he was to be accompanied by the US Secretary of Agriculture. As the week progressed, the President’s visit was to the La Crosse Municipal Transit Utility complex where he delivered a speech on the trillion dollar American Jobs Plan.

Legislature Passes Budget

Responsible budgeting has continually led to budget surpluses, but with this gigantic surplus, we were able to do a once-in-a-generation tax cut for the majority of Wisconsinites.

We’ve achieved 2/3 state funding for our K-12 schools and increased funding for special education and mental health by more than $100 million. The legislature guaranteed all districts will get a minimum of $781 per pupil if they taught in-person at least 50% of the time during the 2020-21 school year. Most districts will see much more than that, the average being $2,898 per pupil.
