Thank You 96th District
It has been truly an honor to serve as the State Representative for the 96th Assembly district for these past six years. I would like to thank the residents of Crawford, Monroe and Vernon County for entrusting me to serve you in the Wisconsin State Assembly. I’m proud to have championed important issues such as proactive solutions to flooding, non-partisan redistricting, farmland preservation reform, investing in our youth workforce in youth apprenticeship, permitting for hydrologic restoration projects, establishing a decommissioning process for power plants and much more.
With the new legislative lines, Crawford, Vernon, and Monroe counties will now all have different representation. Crawford County through Representative Travis Tranel, and Senator Howard Marklein. Vernon County will be represented by Representative-elect Tara Johnson beginning January 6th and continue to be represented by Senator Brad Pfaff. Former parts of the 96th district in Monroe County will be represented by Representative Jill Billings on the western side of the county and the eastern side by Representative Nancy VanderMeer and Senator Patrick Testin.
The past six years have been a great honor to represent the Coulee region in the State Assembly and I thank you all for entrusting this position to me. I wish all my current colleagues and the Representative-elects well as they represent the people of Wisconsin in the legislature next session. It has truly been an honor, thank you all.

This is a massive loss to Wisconsin
Garbage politics and Democrat gerrymandering are the causes of this injustice and travesty. Wisconsin has lost one of the most level-headed gentlemen in history. So much valuable perspective has been lost. I hope we can get Loren Oldenburg back in some capacity soon. His level of wisdom is rare and needed.
