For about a week now we have been hearing about a Trucker's Convoy and the truth has been sketchy but we have been in touch with the organizers and this will be happening on Friday, March 4.

There are actually two convoys heading our way. One originating from Seattlle, WA and the other from Minot, ND. As you can see from the schedules below they will be travelling along both I-90 + I-94 and rendezvousing near Oakdale, WI. Note the arrival times are a little different as the Northern leg is estimated to arrive around 3:30PM and the Southern leg is expected at 5PM (times subject to change). The combined convoy is then expected to leave immediately for their overnight stop near Portage, WI. So we've got ourselves a convoy.

A leg of the Freedom Convoy (Truckers) will be heading from Bismark, ND to Illinois to meet up with other convoys on their way to DC in the effort to end the mandates. This is a separate convoy from the People's Convoy starting in California that will not be coming through Wisconsin.

The leader of this specific route has requested we provide them with assistance along the way. They will be making 3 stops total in Wisconsin: Hudson, Oakdale, and Portage before continuing on. A local group of patriots are organizing an effort to provide hospitality to the truckers during each of their stops with donations including non-perishables, cases of water, and gift cards for fuel, thank you cards and anything else we can offer. There is also a concerted effort to cover EVERY legally accessible overpass along their route through the state with flags and sign wavers to bolster confidence and encourage the truckers driving though as they make this huge sacrifice.

Additionally, there will be a rally at the Portage Petro Travel Center of Exit 108 for Friday evening when the truckers arrive with TBA speakers.

I plan to arrive in Oakdale with flag(s) in hand and stage near the I-90/94 offramp / overpass at 2PM +++ wave to truckers passing under the overpass until the first convoy arrives at approximately 3:30PM and then we will welcome their arrival. Monroe County Sheriff has been alerted and will be conducting traffic control and be looking out for our safety.
