The State of the State Address and Republican Response
Tuesday night, Governor Evers delivered his State of the State address to a joint session of the legislature. As a quick recap, his top priorities were exactly what we imagined they would be – to spend unsustainably, grow the size of government, and give more handouts.
Republicans will not let that happen! It's due to the good decisions made by my Republican colleagues over the past decade that we have a record surplus and ample revenues to address the issues facing our state.
Let me make a few promises so you know where we stand:
Even in this time of divided government, we can find common ground and come together to find solutions to make Wisconsin an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
I was honored to deliver the Republican response.

Thank goodness for the people of Wisconsin who elect Constitutional leadership throughout the state. The Democrats are working hard to push us to the failed liberal California system, and we are not going to let them. We must try to get some democrats to see we need to get back to less government and more individual responsibility, for us to be sustainable.
