Governor Evers Does Nothing
First Governor Evers said he couldn't investigate Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm because there was no formal petition filed.
A petition was filed citing the recent case of Darrell Brooks, who is charged with killing six people, including a child, and injuring over 60 more at the Waukesha Christmas parade. He was out on a $1,000 bail for using the same SUV to run over the mother of his child only a month earlier.
Rather than investigate and hold DA Chisholm accountable, Governor Evers hired an attorney to investigate the petition. Now Governor Evers has said he will not investigate or remove DA Chisholm because the complaint "doesn't meet standards."
My Milwaukee colleagues held a press conference and wrote a letter calling upon Governor Evers to use his executive power to fire Chisholm. You can read the letter here:

If that isn't infuriating enough, Governor Evers has also told everyone to "take a breath" after the Waukesha tragedy.

Giv Evers does noth9ing.
Nothing? Not precisely true but if it were, he should be congratulated. Why? Because NOTHING is what goveNMEnt does best and ought to do more of!
Hold the scum when they are dangerous.
Hide behind the 8th Amendment again? The liberal Judges continue to play games with their position of power. The 8th Amendment is one more abused Amendment by liberal judges. This Amendment states that excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. Here is the problem, in this case and in so many situations, it is not cruel or unusual to lock dangerous people up, NO BAIL! Because they get out and hurt people again! It is time to be more concerned about the citizens, and less about the criminals.
