Election Results – Your Vote Made a Difference!
Donald Trump has been elected the 47th president of the United States, making him the first president to serve two non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland in 1892. Wisconsin was yet again a major and critical battleground state; all ten of its electoral votes went to Trump, decided by a margin of about 1%. Trump’s win was secured by Wisconsin after projections put him over the threshold of the necessary 270 electoral votes. That should be enough to convince anyone how important every single vote is in our state! Take a look at data from the New York Times above.
The statewide referendum to ensure only US citizens can vote in Wisconsin’s federal, state, and local elections passed by an overwhelming margin.
At the federal level, Republicans gained control of the US Senate. This is significant as the Senate has the power to confirm the next president’s Cabinet picks and fill any Supreme Court justice vacancies, if there are any. The Wisconsin Senate race between incumbent Democrat Tammy Baldwin and Republican challenger Eric Hovde came down to the wire, with Baldwin winning by a slim margin of just 29,000 votes. Conservative-leaning third-party candidates received over 61,000 votes. It is still too early to call, but it appears the US House of Representatives will retain Republican control. Each district in Wisconsin remained intact with six Republicans and two Democrats.
Thank you to everyone who cast their vote in this critical election – your voice was heard, and we have a bright four years ahead of us protecting marriage, family, life, and religious liberty at the state and federal levels.

Thank you for what you do!
Families are Wisconsin’s best natural resource. Strong, independent, married mom-and-dad families are simply irreplaceable. I got that directly from the site of this fine organization. While I work for the preservation of America, Wisconsin Family Action is defending marriage, family, life, & religious liberty in Wisconsin. What a wonderful organization!
