Ego and Elon
We have been treated to a spate of Democrat protests. They involve groups. that shout, call names, and sing in a group. This activity has prompted me to fall back on some old lessons.
Mark Twain said, "It is easier to fool people than it is to convince them they have been fooled."
Eckhart Tolle said, "The self, in an effort to uphold and defend itself, engages in making assessments and cultivates emotions like unease and resentments."
When Democrats engage in calling names they are admitting they don't have an argument. Shouting is not an argument. Singing in a group is not an argument, but only reinforces a warm and fuzzy feeling that they are not alone.
Democrat James Carville has made some astute observations. He can't help but wonder why Democrats are doubling down on the low end of 90-10 arguments. I can't either.
The question is: Are we to be the Master of our ego or our ego to be the master of us?
