With planes out and no time for trains, I decided to ride the most reliable means of travel I know: my Harley Davidson!

Because the Democrats held our government hostage for over 40 days, I couldn’t rely on air travel to get me from my home in Wisconsin back to DC to FINALLY end the Chuck Schumer and the Democrats’ shameful government shutdown.

With planes out and no time for trains, I decided to ride the most reliable means of travel I know: my Harley-Davidson!

I fired up my Milwaukee Iron and rode more than 950 miles from western Wisconsin to DC in time to proudly cast my vote to end the government shutdown!

Our Kids Are Leaving

Every year, thousands of people are leaving Wisconsin and moving to states like Florida, Texas, and Tennessee for greater affordability and better job opportunities. As a state, we can't maintain the drain of our most significant resources - our people.

Wisconsin's high taxes and crazy liberal policies are forcing people out. That's unfortunate, because we have a tremendous amount to offer! I am running for governor to reclaim our state and to keep our next generations right here.

Across the country, we just saw a blue wave. From Virginia to New Jersey, Democrats beat Republicans BIG. Out in California, liberals advanced a RADICAL gerrymandering play that threatens to END President Trump’s House Majority.

All of this could be just a taste of what is to come on Election Day in 2026 if Republicans don’t get to work RIGHT NOW!

The Monroe County Board of Supervisors recently held their periodic “Legislative Exchange” which is billed as an “Open Dialog between State Legislatures (sic), Monroe County Board Members and Department Heads”. These recurring meetings tentatively scheduled quarterly allow county leadership to express concerns about various topics that need to be shared with state and federal legislators for their “grassroots” knowledge and hopefully action.

Our Nation Deserves Better Than Political Brinksmanship

I am writing with deep concern regarding the recent government shutdown—a crisis that has stretched on for a staggering 35 days and left millions of Americans uncertain about their future. This prolonged impasse, widely attributed to Senator Schumer and the Democrat Party’s leadership, is more than just a political standoff; it is a direct blow to the functioning of our government and the well-being of everyday citizens.

Last year, I attended the grand opening of the Lone Rock Bridge across the Wisconsin River. The bridge, which connects Iowa, Richland, and Sauk counties, is an essential piece of infrastructure for those communities. I was thrilled when this project was completed, because it was the first major road project in Wisconsin to use the “design-build” method.

I recently joined a number of my Republican colleagues to release a bill package that aims to protect Wisconsin from foreign adversaries.

No matter what side of the political aisle you fall on, we should all be on the same page when it comes to cracking down on groups – like the Chinese Communist Party – that seek to disrupt and negatively influence our American way of life.
