As I’m typing this I have just returned from the Trump town hall in La Crosse where I volunteered to help with the event. I arrived at about 7:20am and, as I type this, it is now 9:57pm. What an incredibly exhausting but so worth it day!

If you were at the event then you may have heard me call out instructions like, “Head toward the U-Haul and look for the end of the line. Thanks for being here today!”

Deceptive “Push Polls” Appear Again in Western Wisconsin

The practice of deceptive “push polling” has once again appeared in western Wisconsin, in the familiar spot of the state Assembly race between Steve Doyle and me.

“Push polling,” appears to be a standard telephone poll conducted by a professional organization. Usually hired by a political party or campaign, but not identifying themselves as such. The questions asked during the call quickly decline into deceptive and vicious, untrue claims about a particular candidate, designed to harm that person’s reputation.

I hope you are enjoying the end of summer and finding time to get out on the lake. This summer, my team helped with an important casework story, and I wanted to take the time to share it with you.

Ensuring the federal government is working for you is one of my top priorities. While my office can offer help with many federal agencies, one of those is the Department of Defense (DoD).

It’s completely unacceptable how little information federal agencies have provided the public since the July 13 assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump.

I've been compiling a timeline of law enforcement's awareness of shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks. Last week, shocking new video emerged recorded by one of the rally goers, James Copenhover, who was also a shooting victim just 3 minutes after he recorded that video.

Timeline Highlights:

5:45pm - Secret Service sniper received photo and location of Crooks

In 77 days, voters will elect the 47th President of the United States in one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime. As we continue to fight to protect the unborn, bolster parental rights, stand up for religious freedom, and combat woke ideology in our school systems, we need elected officials who are willing to stand up and defend those same principles.

Jay Stone has taken legal action to see that state and federal laws prohibiting the giving of inducements to register and vote are enforced.

Wisconsinite Jay Stone, president of the citizen group Honest, Open, and Transparent Government, has filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) alleging that the nonprofit organization Pizza to the Polls provided free pizza to voters and prospective voters in violation of state and federal law.

WILL Sues Wisconsin State Bar

Earlier this week a federal judge allowed a case against the Wisconsin State Bar to proceed, following a lawsuit from the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL). WILL asserts that mandatory membership in the Bar is unconstitutional. Under state law, attorneys are mandated to join the Bar and pay hundreds of dollars in dues each year to practice in Wisconsin. The Bar then uses the dues to fund controversial political activities – thereby violating its members’ First Amendment rights of freedom of association and freedom of speech.
