Inflation is a tax on all Americans and folks are paying more while getting less under President Biden’s economy. Since he took office, inflation has risen by 19.4% and Americans are spending nearly $12,000 more annually to buy the basics compared to three years ago.

Inflation has been particularly difficult for small and local business owners. From operating costs to employee wages to supply chain issues, business owners are struggling under President Biden’s failed economic agenda. To hear firsthand how Third District businesses are being impactedby inflation, I visited a variety of small businesses in Holmen where I was able to speak directly with owners and employees.

Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and they deserve an environment that they can succeed in. I will continue my work in Congress to lower inflation, strengthen our economy, and expand opportunities for business owners.
