Ryan Huebsch who is running for the State Assembly in the Coulee Region’s 94th District announced today that he has earned the support of Trempealeau County Sheriff Brett Semingson.

"Ryan Huebsch has earned my support,” said Sheriff Semingson. “I had the opportunity to sit down and meet with Ryan to discuss the priorities and needs of our community. Ryan's commitment to supporting law enforcement and prioritizing public safety in the county I serve is key and why I believe that he is the best candidate to represent us in the 94th district. Ryan's passion and strong work ethic are what we need. I encourage folks in Galesville, Ettrick, Gale, and Caledonia to join me and support Ryan Huebsch for the 94th Assembly District this November!"

“I am honored to have earned the trust and public endorsement of Sheriff Semingson in the race for state assembly,” said Huebsch. “As lawmakers, we must ensure that those selflessly serving to protect our friends and neighbors every day have our full support. Sadly, my opponent has taken dangerous and extreme positions such as opposing 2023 SJR 2 that addressed the dire need to reform our cash bail system. Fortunately, despite the ‘no’ vote from Steve Doyle last session, this resolution passed on a bipartisan vote in the Assembly to afford Wisconsin residents to vote to keep our communities safe by holding dangerous offenders more accountable. When elected, I look forward to filling the void and being the needed advocate for law enforcement that the Coulee Region deserves and needs to keep our neighborhoods safe.”

The 94th Assembly District includes the City of Galesville, Village of Ettrick and the Towns of Caledonia, Gale, and Ettrick in Trempealeau County. The 94th district also includes the City of Onalaska, Villages of Holmen and West Salem, and the Towns of Farmington, Hamilton, Holland, Onalaska, and Medary along with portions of the northside in the City of La Crosse. Early voting is currently underway in Wisconsin. Absentee ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM on Election Day which will be held on Tuesday, November 5.
