Protecting American Energy
The Biden administration recently announced they will be halting U.S. exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG). This will only empower countries like Russia and Iran while simultaneously hurting our allies around the world who depend on the U.S. for their energy supply.
In response, I joined my colleagues in introducing a resolution condemning the Biden administration for halting LNG exports and urging a return to permitting LNG exports. The American LNG industry supports millions of jobs, adds billions of dollars to our economy, and is more environmentally friendly than other fossil fuels available.
In addition to this resolution, I have long been a strong proponent for bolstering our domestic energy industry in Congress. Last year, I supported and helped secure the House passage of the Lower Energy Costs Act, which will increase U.S. energy production, reform energy permitting processes, roll back the natural gas tax, and expand domestic production of critical minerals. This will return the U.S. to an all-of-the-above energy approach and in turn, lower energy costs for hardworking Americans.
Halting LNG exports is just one more incredibly reckless example of President Biden’s America-last energy policies that hurt our economy, national security, and the global environment. I’m proud to join my colleagues in condemning the President for his attack on American energy, and I sincerely urge him to reverse this misguided decision and restart U.S. LNG exports now.

Biden is so misled or compromised.
He says this is to help climate change, but that will not help. It is more likely that this is the green agenda or pressure from Russia. This is simply foolish or evil, good luck on this DVO!
