As we approach election day, independents hold the key to the USA's future. Democrats want to do more and Republicans say 'Stop it, stop it, stop it!'
A very wise Man said, "You will know them by their fruits."
In less than two years, inflation has the undivided attention of the Federal Reserve and their interest raises; violent crime has reversed and is raising; immigration is unrecognizable from historical norms. Expect another 75 basis points by the Fed on Nov 2. Violent crime had been trending down but is now sharply increasing. NBC reports nearly 3 million crossings in fiscal 2022; breaking the previous record by a million.
There are immediate concerns. I worry about a Department of Justice that has been politicized; an FBI that lied to a FISA court on multiple cases; an AG that views unhappy parents as domestic terrorists; show arrests of old unarmed men in their pajamas or an airport - complete with body armor and SWAT armaments. DHS and FBI have had emails leaked that show collaboration with Twitter and Facebook to combat 'misinformation and disinformation' - - How is this different than what occurs in a totalitarian country?
I worry about a White House that colludes with media platforms to censor free speech (Harmeet Dhillon, Center For American Liberty - multiple cases). Elimination of the Electoral College; government by large cities on both coasts (subway riders telling - how to farm and cross rivers).
I worry about a president that supersedes congress to treat the treasury as his own by giving money to people with college loans; that the National Debt has increased to $31 trillion from $27 trillion in two years while he brags about cutting the deficit; that he cut oil production by his actions and makes up for it by treating the Strategic Oil Reserve as a remedy for high gas prices prior to an election.
I worry about a governor who claims that Wisconsin is in the top 10 in education while we are dead last - in the states - in the achievement levels between whites and black students (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Oct 24, '22). Does he not believe, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"?
Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador, gave an interview , Nov 1, '22. "When you look at how the cities (USA) are eroding so fast; this has to be by design." He cited residents being given drugs, money, increased leniency with crime, and de-funding the police.
Independents, choose wisely!
