It was a long drive to and from Arizona and the whole way back I couldn’t stop thinking about what I had witnessed in Phoenix at Charlie Kirk’s memorial.

It wasn’t just another service. It was history in the making.

As a student of history, I remember learning how the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914 lit the fuse that started World War I. One act of hate triggering global chaos.

Hopefully most United States citizens can tell you the Constitution of the United States was written in 1787, some eleven years after the Declaration of Independence which declared the independence of the thirteen colonies from England. After that, American’s detailed knowledge of United States’ history probably drops off considerably.

In the wake of the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk, there have been thousands of leftists online celebrating his political assassination. Most of these lunatics are interacting with the community in government, education, health care and other industries.

It has been an honor to represent my friends and neighbors in western and northern Wisconsin in Congress, where I worked alongside President Trump to secure our border and deliver the largest tax cut in history for families, seniors, and small businesses. Now I’m ready to lead for every corner of our state.

I am officially announcing my candidacy for the 2026 Republican nomination for lieutenant governor of Wisconsin.

I’m the former Mayor of Lancaster, Congressional Aide, and federal policy analyst at Focus on the Family for Dr. James Dobson, but two of my most important titles are Husband and Father. I am concerned about my two daughters' future and the path Democrats are taking Wisconsin down.
