Justice Rebecca Bradley blasts Judge Chris Taylor over opposition to Marsy’s Law

In case you missed it, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently laid bare Chris Taylor’s shocking disregard for crime victims, exposing how she voted NO on Marsy’s Law—not once, but TWICE—as a far-left Madison Democrat in the state Legislature in 2017 and 2019. Even worse, Taylor’s own campaign treasurer for her Supreme Court bid was a key player in the legal challenge against this vital victims’ rights amendment, which Wisconsin voters overwhelmingly approved by a staggering 75% margin in 2020.

One of the things our President Emeritus, Julaine Appling and I have missed is seeing you and other supporters at community events around the Badger State.

I’m excited to announce that we will be re-launching these free community events this fall! Over the next six months we plan to interact with our supporters in 20 communities throughout Wisconsin.

We hope that you can join us for one of these free events near you. Our theme this year is “From Backyards to Ballots: Building a Stronger State.”

Telegram readers know I’ve been leading the fight to stop wind and solar industrial projects from destroying American farmland.

These projects aren’t just unreliable, but they also leave us dependent on Communist China, which controls much of the global supply chain for the minerals used in solar panels. In other words, we are sacrificing our productive farmland to benefit China.

Earlier this week, I was invited to take a tour of both the former Wisconsin Rapids Paper Mill site and the Consolidated Water Power Company.

The mill property, previously owned by Billerud and sold to the Capital Recovery Group in May of 2024, is actively being marketed to prospective industrial users.

Some sections of the parcel have already been sold, and several parties have evaluated the site for industrial development, including a data center to support AI applications.

I recently participated in the Dairy Innovation Hub’s (DIH) annual summer research tour. My visit gave an insightful look at the research, equipment, and private partnerships that are being supported by the DIH.

In 2019, Rep. Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) and I worked to create and fund the Dairy Innovation Hub. Through the state budget process, we allocated nearly $8 million annually to create a collaboration between UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, and UW-River Falls and attract world-class researchers to work on innovations in the dairy sector.

Redistricting and the Coulee Region

Texas and California have been front page news lately for wanting to redistrict their Congressional Districts before the 2026 elections. The driving force is if Texas can successfully redistrict that will add up to five more Republican seats in the House of Representatives thus – hopefully – guaranteeing the Republican majority. California is fighting back and claiming they can redistrict and add Democrat seats.

We are standing strong behind President Trump’s efforts to drive reindustrialization through tariffs. As a former Navy SEAL, Wisconsin manufacturer, and Republican gubernatorial candidate I'm highlighting recent moves by companies to return manufacturing to the U.S. and outlining my plan to work with the Trump administration to make Wisconsin the epicenter of this new growth and opportunity.
