One of the things our President Emeritus, Julaine Appling and I have missed is seeing you and other supporters at community events around the Badger State.

I’m excited to announce that we will be re-launching these free community events this fall! Over the next six months we plan to interact with our supporters in 20 communities throughout Wisconsin.

We hope that you can join us for one of these free events near you. Our theme this year is “From Backyards to Ballots: Building a Stronger State.”

My office is now accepting nominations for the 33rd Assembly District First Responder of the Year!

Each year, members of the Assembly honor a First Responder of the Year in their district. The special ceremony will take place in the Assembly Chambers on October 14, 2025 where individuals from across the state will be recognized.

Please return the form (linked below) no later than Friday, September 19th to ensure your nomination is eligible.

I recently participated in the Dairy Innovation Hub’s (DIH) annual summer research tour. My visit gave an insightful look at the research, equipment, and private partnerships that are being supported by the DIH.

In 2019, Rep. Travis Tranel (R-Cuba City) and I worked to create and fund the Dairy Innovation Hub. Through the state budget process, we allocated nearly $8 million annually to create a collaboration between UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, and UW-River Falls and attract world-class researchers to work on innovations in the dairy sector.

We are standing strong behind President Trump’s efforts to drive reindustrialization through tariffs. As a former Navy SEAL, Wisconsin manufacturer, and Republican gubernatorial candidate I'm highlighting recent moves by companies to return manufacturing to the U.S. and outlining my plan to work with the Trump administration to make Wisconsin the epicenter of this new growth and opportunity.
