Re-Charging the Batteries

Attending the La Crosse County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner left me feeling truly re-charged. Hats off to the Cedar Creek team for a terrific meal and hospitality, and to the event organizers for keeping everything on schedule with a flawless sound system and superb music.

The evening was filled with motivation and friendship - exactly what many of us needed as we prepare for a pivotal election cycle. Congressman Tom Tiffany’s reminder about the power of Liberty gave me renewed energy to help spread the truth:

Wisconsin will either go woke and go broke like Minnesota and Illinois, or we will stand strong for common sense and prosperity.

Congressman Derrick Van Orden once again electrified the room, but also moved us deeply as he described witnessing a horrific car accident. His story of saving a young boy, and the way several other everyday Americans rushed to help, was a powerful reminder of the spirit that unites us beyond politics or divisions.

I was proud to gift Derrick an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) - better than MacGyver’ing socks and windshield wipers, as I joked on my podcast.

I look forward to having both Congressmen on future episodes of Speakeasy Conversations.

Two other standouts were State Senator Pat Testin and gubernatorial candidate Josh Schoemann. Having spoken with both in podcast conversations previously, I can say they cut through the noise and speak from the heart. Their ability to inspire with humility and conviction sets them apart from the empty talking points we so often hear in politics.

Events like this remind us why we stay in the fight. If we want to protect Wisconsin’s future, it will take all of us - standing up, volunteering, and working together. Dig deep within yourself and find the Patriotism to come and help us be part of making Wisconsin great again!
