Last week, I was proud to help pass the Lower Energy Costs Act – which will increase domestic energy production, reform the permitting process, and reverse anti-energy policies.

I was also proud to cosponsor the Defend America’s Rural Energy (DARE) Act, which was included as an amendment to the final bill. The DARE Act prohibits investment by foreign adversaries – including Communist China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea – in U.S. real estate suitable for renewable energy or renewable fuels production.

The USDA reports that Communist China owns roughly 384,000 acres of U.S. agricultural land. That’s a threat to our food security and national security.

I’m proud to support this effort to defend our farmers and energy producers from Chinese influence and foreign land grabs. You can read the full bill here.

I am tired of the continued ignorance of America when it comes to allowing any noncitizen to own land. Keep them out! How many of you know that there is only one way to crush our nuclear defense? These missiles can be stopped easily if they are targeted when they are first launched. They are slow targets for a few seconds and they are very vulnerable at that time. Foreign governments that are set up close by can take them out with small missiles.
