Here are the Republican candidates that I believe are the best qualified for the office sought, will be the best nominees for the November 8th General Election, and I will vote for on August 9th

US Senate – Ron Johnson Two term Incumbent, first elected in 2010; former CEO of plastic manufacturing firm; leadership experience in civic and non-profits; leadership in US Senate; “fighting for Wisconsin families”; Johnson’s priorities include getting prices under control and citizens’ safety & security

Congress, 3rd District – Derrick Van Orden Retired Navy SEAL; candidate in 2020, scared incumbent Ron Kind, and never stopped campaigning; “Life, Liberty & Pursuit of Happiness”; issues include farming & trade; health care; national security & borders; dangers of socialism. (Rep Ron Kind is retiring – this is an “open seat.”)

Governor – Tim Michels Executive with large family construction business; military experience; “has run something”; endorsed by former Gov. Thompson and former Pres. Trump; government/Madison “outsider”; on Exec Board of Project 1848; has blueprint to restore common sense to Wisconsin that includes draining the Madison swamp, backing the blue, trusting parents in education, and restoring election integrity.

LT Governor – David Varnam Former three-term Mayor of Lancaster; endorsed by three pro-life/pro-family organizations; former policy analyst for Focus on Family; former Congressional aide specializing in water, housing, and transportation issues; only candidate with elected executive experience; only candidate from southwest Wisconsin

Attorney General – Eric Toney Experienced county District Attorney with over 100 endorsements from police, sheriffs, and district attorneys; “prosecutor not a politician”; as Wisconsin’s top cop he will restore law and order Endorsed by Sheriff Revels and DA Croninger. Proven leader.

Secretary of State – Amy Loudenbeck Six term Assemblyman (R-31st); Vice co-chair of Joint Committee on Finance; former Chamber of Commerce Executive, fire fighter and town supervisor; on State Capitol & Executive Residence Board and State Fair Park Board. She is running on election integrity & customer service.

State Treasurer – Orlando Owens Twenty years of experience in business and non-profits; co-founder of The Joseph Project; has worked with Sen Ron Johnson; will focus on being a watchdog over our tax dollars and encourage workforce and economic development.

70th Assembly District – Nancy Van derMeer Incumbent and uncontested

County Sheriff – Wes Revels Incumbent and uncontested

Clerk of Courts – Laura Endres Incumbent and uncontested

And, two others that represent other parts Monroe County:
Congress 7th District - Tom Tiffany and 96th Assembly District - Loren Oldenberg
Support the Primary Winners – on to November 8th!
