The Campaign Continues

Many of you by now have seen the recent news of Sen. Jenifer Shilling not seeking re-election in the fall. I wish her and her family well.

Folks have reached out to me because of the news wondering how they can help. And I want to be clear, this race is not over! My approach to this campaign has not changed. If anything, it now means we will need to work much harder to win in November for the honor of representing you in the State Senate.

Democrats believe that this is a must win for them to stop the progress the Republicans have made in the State Senate. They need to win my seat if they want to undo all of the reforms we have worked so hard to push forward.

I am going to continue to do everything I can to make sure we have the best chance of winning in November, it does not matter who my opponent might be.

Anyone who knows me knows how hard it is for me to not be out there meeting with every single voter and shaking every single hand. I love to campaign and meet voters, and I love to work hard to earn every single vote I can get in my Senate seat.

With the emergency we are in right now, that just cannot safely happen. But I want to assure you that we are still working. I am still calling voters, preparing to gather nomination papers, ordering yard signs, and getting mailings together to keep voters informed.

The purpose of this message is to let you know that we are up and running and active as we continue our journey to a November victory. Visit https://dankapankeforsenate.com/ for even more details and to sign up for our team.

I am most grateful for all the support I have received from so many over the years. I wish you good health and safety during these challenging times.

See you all soon,

-Dan

It is rare that we have a candidate that comes from the private sector, who has worked all his life. He has government experience form a time in local government and the Wisconsin State Senate, where he excelled in real representation of the people. His private sector business experience is so important when you are going to make decisions that affect the everyday lives of the citizens of the area and entire state. Dan Kapanke is simply a very nice decent person, and I have known that for 40 years, a long time to verify the content of his character. Good luck Dan!
