WI Family Action joins in objecting to abortion referendum
Last week, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) said he favors the legislature passing a bill that would ban abortion in Wisconsin after 15 weeks and then, assuming the governor signs the bill, putting the matter before all Wisconsin citizens in the form of a "binding referendum" on a statewide ballot. Wisconsin Family Action opposes this idea and joined with the other pro-life organizations in issuing an official statement through the Heal Without Harm Coalition denouncing this strategy.
The joint press release we issued last week is available HERE. It is also copied below for your convenience. We hope this encourages you to continue to stand strong with us as we work together to create a culture of life in Wisconsin.

Touchy subject, but how do we win?
The Constitutional/Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness Party hates murdering babies. The problem is, that we have lost our path to put an end to this genocide. I see some of you shaking your heads, like I am caving to this evil agenda, well I don't see it that way. Because of the high moral values we stick to our principles, it could cost us the US Supreme Court and has cost us the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and in turn, any potential to live in our Free America with Justice and liberty for all, even the unborn.
So think hard about our goals, and how to accomplish them. This is like those libertarians, they have their principles, but can never win unless they stop trying to make their point and pushing issues that can not ever accomplished by voting in a way that can not win. The harsh reality is harsh!
