This Wisconsin Trucker was very excited to see Congressman Derrick Van Orden help pass the recent Budget Reconciliation Bill, otherwise known as the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act”.

Boy, will it be nice to get some tax relief. It’s difficult enough to get by without the government digging in your pockets. Thankfully, this bill will save families like mine thousands of dollars each year. Not to mention, this bill eliminates taxes on overtime. These provisions show Republicans are eager to help the working class.

In the eyes of many, the democrat party used to be the party of the working class. Now, they’ve unfortunately become the party of coastal elites, leaving behind those who serve as our country's backbone. As a former democrat voter, I can honestly say I'm disappointed in how radical they've become.

By opposing this bill, Democrats endorsed a giant tax increase on every single American, including rural families, farmers, and waitresses. It's too bad they won't support solid policies just because they don't want our President to get a "win".

Thank you Congressman Van Orden for getting the job done in Washington. The working class citizens of Wisconsin appreciate your work.
