La Crosse Congressman Addresses Question about Border Adjustment Tax

A constituent asked Congressman Ron Kind (D-La Crosse) to comment about the Border Adjustment Tax that is being proposed in Washington. This new tax would lead to increased prices on many things that come to America from across the border like clothing, school supplies, and gasoline. It is a measure that President Trump called a 'bad idea' but some politicians are working on it anyway. To his credit, Kind states that it is something that he is concerned about and will dig into it further.

This is one of several issues that is actively being worked on by the grassroots organization Americans For Prosperity. Volunteers are currently making calls to voters throughout the nation to encourage them to contact their senators and ask them to vote against this idea if it comes up for a vote.
