Mr. Doyle,
Thanks for your reply. As we both know, the real crux of the matter when it comes to gun control legislation is how a legislator DEFINES ‘common sense policy.’

You see, from my perspective, having taken the oath to ‘…defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic…’ it is my opinion that ‘common sense policy’ means that you should NEVER support anything which may violate the very simple wording written in the 2nd Amendment. Therefore, I am in favor of gun laws that BAN gun free zones because it is common sense policy to allow good, law-abiding citizens to carry anywhere they choose since they are, and will always be, the GOOD guys.

Furthermore, the important question that you must answer as my representative in the legislature is: How do YOU define ‘common sense policy?’ Are you like many of your Democrat colleagues who believe it is common sense to seek laws that would confiscate my rifles?

Thanks in advance for your speedy reply.

Take care and God bless,
Chris Muller

Dear Christopher,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your thoughts about the special session the Governor called for on gun-control legislation in Wisconsin.

I want you to know I am a gun-owner and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. I can assure you I will not support any legislation which puts your Second Amendment right at risk - I believe in common-sense policy that respects both sides' concerns.

Again, thank you for reaching out to me on this issue. If I can further assist you on any state or local issue please do not hesitate to contact me at 608-237-9278.

Typical. In answer he said nothing.

The Second Amendment does not allow manipulation by political spin. It is very clear and concise. Politically driven destruction is not allowed under the Constitution!
