The Assembly has again passed legislation to protect women’s sports by keeping competition on a level playing field. The bills ensure that student-athletes are competing in accordance with their respective sex, as determined by a physician at birth and reflected on their birth certificate. A third category is coed or allowing participants of any sex the opportunity to compete together.

What we are witnessing in Israel is absolutely horrific. Make no mistake, this is a terrorist attack and Israel has every right to defend itself against Hamas. The Biden Administration must support our ally, Israel, and stop handing over billons of dollars to Hamas's patron, Iran.

Recently, I was quoted in an “Independent” news source The American Independent that highlighted in their story that I was at an event where a semi-automatic gun was being raffled. I unequivocally support our Right to Bear Arms, and as I tour Wisconsin, I will stand firm in support for all of our rights. I believe that our American rights are protected by the Second Amendment and I am proud of the rich heritage of gun ownership in our nation, in Wisconsin, and in my own family.

Republican state legislators have introduced two bills to protect girls’ and women’s sports and athletic events. One bill (AB 377) prohibits biological males in K-12 public schools and private schools in the choice program from participating in girls’ sports, and the other bill (AB 378) does the same thing for UW-System schools or tech schools. Both bills allow for biological males "identifying" as female to play on designated co-ed teams.

Today, the Waukesha County Circuit Court ruled in favor of Wisconsin parents in a monumental case brought by the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) and Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). The Court held that the Kettle Moraine School District violated parents’ constitutional rights to raise their own children by allowing minor students to change gender identity at school without parental consent, and even over their objection.

Would you believe me if I told you that the Biden administration was turning National Park Service lands into illegal alien encampments?

Because, unfortunately, that is exactly what is happening.

In an effort to house the exploding number of illegal immigrants coming into our country, the Biden administration is allowing the construction of an illegal alien homeless encampment at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn’s Gateway National Recreation Area.

And they even waived the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to permit it.

This summer, we announced the formation of four bipartisan task forces: the Speaker’s Task Force on Artificial Intelligence; the Speaker’s Task Force on Childhood Obesity; the Speaker’s Task Force on Truancy in K-12 Education; and the Speaker’s Task Force on Human Trafficking. These issues were selected due to their importance to the people of Wisconsin and the need for common sense, bipartisan solutions.
