I believe that we are seeing the Shiny Object Syndrome effect in the Harris candidacy. "Shiny object syndrome (SOS) is a continual state of distraction brought on by an ongoing belief that there is something new worth pursuing.", Google.

Before Harris ran for president, she was the lowest rated vice president in history. After President Biden withdrew from running for re-election, Harris became that shiny new object. The 'King Makers' of the Democrat Party simply threw out 14 million votes for Joe Biden and put Harris in with zero votes. (This is the party that claims that they're saving democracy.)

Slowly, the Harris honeymoon is ending. There are just too many video clips of her saying things that are way outside what Americans are accepting. Even her main thrust on abortion has no practical application. (The Supreme Court has said that Roe is not covered by the Constitution. The states never gave that right to the federal government. So passing a law that puts Roe in effect nationwide is pure folly; supporters may just as well stay home. If she were proposing an amendment to the Constitution that would have some merit.) Harris had said: That Fracking should be banned. We should move forward and do away with private insurance. That no person in the United States should be denied healthcare, education, or personal safety (undocumented immigrants included). The division of government called ICE should be dismantled. Any inmate or immigrant should have transition surgery paid for by us taxpayers. That Bidenomics is working. That the border is secure.

Every time Harris sits down for an interview, the media has more questions than answers. Consequently, Harris has cut back on interviews. If Harris has trouble with American interviewers, how is she going to be a world leader? How will Harris explain goals, cause and effect of the USA's motions, intentions, and actions?

Americans are beginning to see through their miasma of happy feelings. i.e.; Biden not running.

I'm going to vote early. At my age, I can't take the chance that I'll be able to vote on November 5th. The USA simply cannot stand any more of this Democrat "prosperity".
