After a month of work in the district, members of Congress returned to Washington this week, and House Republicans wasted no time on getting to work.

On Tuesday, Speaker Kevin McCarthy officially launched an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. This comes after multiple whistleblowers came forward to uncover serious and credible allegations that the Biden family engaged in a disturbing pattern of corruption.

So, what is an inquiry and what is the evidence?

This formal inquiry, which will be led by the House Oversight and Accountability, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committees, gives each of these committees broader power to seek documents and testimony from the Biden family. This will allow House Republicans to gather all the facts to determine if Joe Biden engaged in abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption.

Through House Republicans’ investigations, we have uncovered mounting evidence that Joe Biden was involved in his family’s influence-peddling schemes. While I won’t cover all of the evidence below, you can click here for 20 examples of Joe Biden’s involvement.

For starters, the House has proven that President Biden lied to the American people about his involvement in his family’s foreign business dealings.

Back in 2019, Joe Biden said, "I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

However, that was a lie.

Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, testified under oath that Joe Biden was on 20 phone calls with Hunter’s foreign business associates. Bank records also show that Joe Biden attended dinners with foreign oligarchs who paid huge sums of money to Hunter Biden.

Archer also testified that Hunter Biden was selling "the brand," and that it was Joe Biden who "brought the most value to the brand.”

Therefore, just from that information, House Republicans exposed that Joe Biden was aware of his family’s foreign business dealings, and he was “the brand” to close these deals.

But that’s not all.

House Republicans also revealed that the Biden family received at least $20 million from China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Romania and created over 20 shell companies to conceal the money.

In fact, U.S. banks have flagged more than 150 suspicious activity reports on Hunter Biden and other Biden family members for their shady foreign business deals.

Now, how has Joe Biden tried to obstruct the House Republican’s investigation?

Back when Joe Biden was Vice President, he set up at least three aliases – Robert L. Peters, Robin Ware, and JRB Ware – to send emails. He also used code names, such as “the Big Guy.”

In June, an IRS whistleblower came forward to allege that the DOJ interfered and prevented leads into Joe Biden during Hunter’s tax investigation. Whistleblower Shapley said, “There were certain investigative steps we weren’t allowed to take that could have led us to President Biden.”

And this week, the White House sent a memo to mainstream media outlets requesting that they “ramp up scrutiny” of the House impeachment inquiry.

Now, I don’t know about you, but if Joe Biden has nothing to hide, why did he set up fake aliases, get the DOJ to interfere in an investigation, and intimidate the media to scrutinize our inquiry?

The bottom line is that the American people deserve transparency on whether Joe Biden abused public office for his family’s financial gain, and House Republicans are committed to delivering that.
