What A Difference a Leader Can Make
Last week, I had the distinct honor of being invited by the White House to join President Donald Trump at Custer Farms in Chippewa Falls as he met with Wisconsin farmers.
Standing among hundreds of Wisconsinites gathered on a farm that this family has faithfully stewarded for generations, I was struck by something that has become increasingly rarein public life: the consistent and unapologetic acknowledgment of God.
The event began with a pastoral prayer that clearly proclaimed the Gospel and pointed those in attendance to Jesus Christ. Tony Nasvik, who led the national anthem, boldly testified to his faith. Farm owner Ken Custer spoke openly about his family's dependence on God's providence, and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins delivered remarks filled with gratitude to God and recognition of His blessings.
As I listened throughout the afternoon, I couldn't help but reflect on a timeless biblical truth: leadership matters.
Scripture teaches that leaders can either bring glory to God or choose to ignore Him. Proverbs 29:2 reminds us, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."
No political leader is perfect, and our ultimate hope is in Christ alone. Yet God clearly teaches that those in authority influence the direction of families, communities, states, and nations.
As Wisconsinites, we need to pray that God would raise up and use faithful Christians to elect leaders throughout our state, from local and state offices to governor, who will seek to bring Him honor and glory.

Why was this not in the news paper?
Because the media does not want any positive Trump info made public. Is that fixable?
