I recently had the opportunity to visit Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital and Clinics to learn more about the important work being done there.

During my time at Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital and Clinics, I received a tour of their birthing suites and emergency department and was briefed on their obstetrics and emergency services.

I was also shown around the Mid-State Technical College Healthcare Simulation Center, which is located on the third floor of the hospital. Mid-State students can utilize the facility to supplement their clinical training by practicing direct patient care in a safe learning environment.

I appreciate Aspirus for hosting me at their Wisconsin Rapids complex. It was a rewarding experience and I look forward to continuing our discussions on finding ways to improve all aspects of healthcare in Central Wisconsin.
