On Thursday, Republicans passed a variety of bills that protect women and children. One of the bills was Assembly Bill 100, also known as the Save Women's Sports Act.

There are tons of successful female athletes that have done so much for their respective sports and deserve all of the fame they have received. However, if Democrats were in charge, not a single one of these female athletes would be known. That is because Democrats refuse to acknowledge biological sex and sit idly by as biological men dominate women's sports, simply because they "identify as female".

According to a December 2024 Marquette University Law School pol, 76% of respondents believe transgender athletes should compete against other athletes of the same biological sex. Allowing these biological men to compete against women completely erodes the whole premise of Title IX - which Democrats have long claimed to be a champion of. It is shocking how Democrats refuse to agree on this issue. Men are biologically stronger than women, which top athletes like Serena Williams have even admitted.

Assembly Bill 100 also prohibits biological males from using female locker rooms, which unfortunately has happened far too many times. There was an incident in Sun Prairie where an 18 year old male showered naked next to multiple teen girls and stated "I'm trans, by the way." It is dangerous to allow men in the same locker room as girls. Men have their own privacy, and women should too. It's clear which party cares about protecting women and providing them their own level playing field, and it clearly isn't the Democrats. This legislation is important as it protects the future daughters of America who want to play their own sports and chase greatness the way so many other successful female athletes have done, and also feel safe and secure in the privacy of their own locker room.
