Patriotic Conservatives Celebrate Victory on and off the Field

On a perfect summer evening in La Crosse, patriotism and America’s pastime came together as 50 conservative friends gathered to cheer the La Crosse Loggers to an 11–3 victory over the Thunder Bay Border Cats. But the excitement wasn’t just on the diamond—it was also a chance to connect, collaborate on important ideas, and celebrate a major legislative triumph.

Attendees enjoyed the rare opportunity to socialize with Congressman Derrick Van Orden, who shared insights about the Big, Beautiful Bill that passed Congress that very day—legislation designed to rein in bureaucratic overreach and strengthen American prosperity. Former Wisconsin Secretary of Administration and Assembly Speaker Mike Huebsch added his seasoned perspective on the issues and joined in on the great ball park food provided by the La Crosse Loggers organization.

Joining the conversation was Josh Schoemann, candidate for Wisconsin Governor, who inspired the guests with his vision for principled leadership in Madison, Chairman of the Town of Campbell Dan Kapanke - who also owns the Loggers - and former candidate for State Senate Stacey Klein. Former Lieutenant Governor candidate David Varnam and 3rd Congressional District GOP Vice Chairman Ryan Huebsch rounded out the impressive lineup of conservative voices who generously spent their time visiting with guests.

Between innings, conversations turned to policy, winning future elections, and the importance of electing leaders who will stand up for taxpayers, secure the border, and protect constitutional freedoms. Many in attendance remarked how energizing it was to spend time with friends and leaders committed to restoring common sense to government.

As fireworks capped off the Loggers’ resounding win, it was clear that both on the field and in the halls of Congress, victories are possible when Americans stand together for faith, family, and freedom.

Oh, and one lucky attendee walked away with a signed copy of Congressman Derrick Van Orden's book, "Book of Man - A Navy SEAL's Guide to the Lost Art of Manhood"

It is such a great blessing to have opportunities like this to spend quality time with friends and leaders in our community. My deepest thanks to everyone who attended and donated to help with future events like this one.

God Bless America!
