This legislation delivers great wins for Wisconsinites including tax cuts for families, businesses, and seniors, protects and strengthens vital programs like SNAP and Medicaid, invests in our rural healthcare systems, uplifts our farmers, and secures our borders.

Key provisions of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act include:

Supporting Small and Local Businesses

• Makes the Small Business Tax Deduction permanent and increases it to 23%.
• Increases the Small Business Expensing Cap to $2.5 million to allow small businesses to fully expense business equipment purchases for the first year.
• Reduces the paperwork burden by raising the 1099-MISC threshold to $2,000.

Delivering Relief for Hardworking Americans

• Raises wages in Wisconsin by an inflation-adjusted range of approximately $3,5000 to $6,400.
• Increases take home pay for a typical family with two children by about $7,100 to $10,1000 compared to if the One, Big, Beautiful Bill was not passed.
• Secures no tax on tips or overtime, saving them nearly $1,500 annually.
• Expands 529 education savings accounts and creates the Trump saving accounts for newborns.
• Makes the Child Tax Credit permanent, and increases it to $2,200 per child.
• Protects and strengthens SNAP.

• Secures no tax on Social Security.
• Provides a new $6,000 tax deduction for seniors.

• Lowers oil, gas, and coal royalty rates, incentivizing production and reducing costs.
• Strengthens grid reliability and secures energy supply chains by investing in the building of key energy and critical minerals infrastructure.

Strengthening Rural Healthcare

• Provides Wisconsin with a $500,000,000 plus up for rural healthcare infrastructure.
• Strengthens and increases funds for BadgerCare.
• Restores integrity in Medicare.

Uplifting Our Farmers and Agricultural Producers

• Includes the first meaningful investment in the farm safety net since 2002.
• Invests in livestock biosecurity and agricultural research.
• Saves over 55,000 Wisconsin family farms from the Death Tax.
• Provides for 1.2 million new base acres.
• Secures $124 million in savings for Wisconsin producers through more affordable crop insurance premiums.
• Increases the dairy Tier I cap to 6 million pounds.

Securing the Southern Border

• Allocates more than $46 billion to construct and finish the border wall.
• Invests in rebuilding the Customs and Border Patrol workforce by hiring new Border Patrol agents, officers, Air and Marine Operations agents, and support staff.
• Funds cutting-edge border technology, including $6 billion to help CBP stop the flow of fentanyl, and enhanced surveillance capabilities.
• Provides the necessary resources for DHS to enforce long-standing immigration laws.
