Government Lobbies Itself… For More Government
Richard Moore shines a light on how local governments are using taxpayer dollars to hire lobbyists and fund advocacy groups that then lobby for even more government spending and power, creating a closed-loop system where bureaucrats grow their own empires without real voter consent.
This insider practice wastes resources, inflates bureaucracy, and undermines accountability. Moore calls for reforms to stop the cycle and ensure tax dollars serve the public, not self-perpetuating special interests.

Yes, they do.
A good example is the Wisconsin Towns Association, the Wisconsin Counties Association, and all the organizations that state employees belong to and pay dues to at taxpayer expense. We pay a fortune in Dues to these organization and they work to lobby for the State employees.
