The Coulee Region Friends of NRA announced we have provided $18,120 this year in grants to local organizations at our 31st Annual Banquet at Stoney Creek Lodge recently. This brings the group’s total donations since 2000 to over $225,000.
Those grants go to groups that help promote youth shooting sports and include:
- Western Technical College: $2,316.25
- Chaseburg Rod & Gun Club: $1,549
- Viola Sportsman's Club: $2,500
- Gateway Area Council (La Crosse Area Boy Scouts): $3,754.78
- Ettrick Rod & Gun Club: $8,000
One of the great responsibilities Friends of NRA has is to promote the safe, responsible use of firearms, particularly among young people who are carrying forward our state’s sporting heritage. One of the honors we have is helping to support groups that do excellent work accomplishing that mission. Thank you to all who volunteer, donate and help promote safety in shooting the sports.
Coulee Region Friends of NRA has been providing grants across the state of Wisconsin for over 30 years to help support the youth shooting sports. We provide grants for high school trap teams, Boy Scouts, 4-H, range improvements, and to other organizations to promote the responsible and safe use of firearms.
Since 2000 we have provided over $225,000 in local grants. If you would like to know more, volunteer, or help by making a donation, please contact the Coulee Region Friends of NRA, email us at: CouleeRegion.Fnra@outlook.com.
