During regional press conferences held throughout the state, legislative republicans unveiled the "Returning Your Surplus" proposal, a plan for substantial tax relief, benefiting Wisconsin's middle-class and retirees. The "Returning Your Surplus" proposal is expected to cut the state’s tax burden by nearly $3 billion, with an average filer seeing a savings of $772 a year.
Abortion is front and center again as the 2024 presidential election cycle ramps up. Joe Biden’s re-election campaign has released an ad in targeted states, including Wisconsin, that basically says if he wins, abortion will be available without restriction. This means at least some abortions would be at taxpayer expense.

Members of the community will join in a peaceful protest, praying for America and our children. Someone has to speak up -- we do not support Drag Queen events especially involving children in our community.
Last spring, the Town of Hayward used an obscure state law to hold its annual meeting without public notice. At the meeting, three resolutions were passed, including a $15 million building project and reorganization of the town board. This came despite the fact that during a 2019 advisory referendum, residents of Hayward expressed their disapproval of a comparable $5 million construction project.
