Tiffany Telegram: Corrupt World Health Organization
Telegram readers know that I have been leading the charge to get the United States out of the corrupt World Health Organization (WHO) for years now—and for good reason.
Under the Biden administration, there was a dangerous plan to surrender America’s pandemic policy to unelected global bureaucrats by signing on to the WHO’s pandemic treaty without ever going through Congress.
That’s why I introduced legislation requiring that any agreement coming out of the WHO’s so-called intergovernmental negotiating body be treated as a treaty. That means it must go through the U.S. Senate and require a two-thirds majority vote for approval, just like our Constitution requires.
This legislation passed the House last Congress, exposing what the Biden administration was seeking to do, and thankfully, forced them to pump the brakes on their plan.
The WHO has proven time and time again that it cannot be trusted.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the WHO ignored early warnings from Taiwan and amplified the Chinese Communist Party’s lies that there was “no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission.” That reckless behavior cost us lives, and made it clear that the WHO serves the CCP.
That’s why I was so glad this year when the Trump administration took action on day one to fully withdraw us from the WHO. And today they even took it a step further by formally rejecting the WHO’s pandemic treaty. This treaty would have handed the WHO new powers to impose global lockdowns, restrict travel, and interfere in national health decisions based on vague “potential public health risks.”
America’s public health policy belongs to the American people. It should never be dictated by unelected globalists at the WHO or the United Nations.
This decision by the Trump administration is a major win for American sovereignty, but I realize we can’t stop here.
Just last night, I voted to claw back $135 million in funding to the WHO. Senator Ron Johnson and I are also continuing our work to make sure no future president can pick up where Biden left off and unilaterally sign on to any WHO treaty without Senate approval. You can read more about that here.
I will keep fighting to protect our freedom from bureaucrats in Geneva who think they can override the will of the American people.
Thanks again for starting off your weekend with us! We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of the Tiffany Telegram.

Yes, we need to spend our money like it were our own, and stop the insanity.
