'Tis the season ...

For my latest "On the Job" stop, I had the pleasure of working a shift with the staff at Northern Family Farms in Merrillan.

Founded in 1955, the Jackson County family business is a premier wholesaler of nursery plants and Christmas trees. Chances are, many of the Christmas trees you'll see this December will have come from Northern Family Farms.

Since I was first elected to the Wisconsin State Senate, I have regularly spent a day "On the Job" with local employers to get a better understanding of their operations and to highlight the employment opportunities available in our area. My "On the Job" series also allows me to see firsthand how the decisions we make in Madison impact our local communities.
