This month, I've been meeting with President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet nominees.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will do an excellent job of advocating for the American people instead of big business and big government. He will restore integrity to scientific research and government agencies. I look forward to working with him to end corporate capture of federal agencies and Make America Healthy Again.

In fact, I'm part of the newly formed Congressional Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Caucus. This new caucus will focus on nutrition, access to affordable, high-quality-nutrient-dense foods, improving primary care, and addressing the root causes of chronic diseases.

Making America Healthy Again is an effort that has broad support across the political spectrum. It is a completely nonpartisan issue. It should start by restoring integrity to scientific research and our federal agencies. I am happy to join the MAHA caucus and use our Senate platforms to inform the public and accomplish those goals.

WATCH: My Fox Business interview,"Working with President Trump to address chronic illness, RFK Jr. will save lives, unify our country, and make America a healthier nation."

Tulsi Gabbard will fully utilize her intelligence and experience as our next Director of National Intelligence. She understands the threats we face and the need to supply unbiased and unvarnished information to decision makers. The uproar from the Uniparty over her nomination simply proves she's the perfect choice. I have complete confidence in Tulsi and look forward to voting for her confirmation.

As Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth will focus on readiness and returning lethality to our military forces. He promises to root out wokeness and DEI. As a war fighter himself, he will inspire others to join a reinvigorated military to defend America. I intend to support his nomination.

WATCH: My Newsmax interview, "It would be nice to have a warrior, a warfighter, somebody who actually understands what the troops are going through."
As FBI Director, Kash Patel will focus on protecting Americans by decentralizing and moving agents outside of Washington to fight crime. He has committed to transparency so that Congress can perform our constitutional oversight. I look forward to working with him in the new administration.

Governor Kristi Noem is dedicated to fulfilling the mission of securing the border and working with Tom Homan prioritizing the deportation of criminals and those who represent a threat to our country. She is committed to transparency and working with Congress as we fulfill our oversight responsibilities.

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is an America First champion and nominee to be America's United Nations Ambassador. We discussed our shared goal of restoring President Trump's America First peace through strength national security agenda.

I see the mess we have had in the past, putting political career people in those positions and watching the bureaucracy thrive, and the government fail. It is time to put someone in these positions who has a practical approach rather than an agenda to satisfy.
