Week Full of Public Hearings
The holiday season is often the busiest time of the year.
The same held true for me this week at the state Capitol in Madison.
In addition to meeting with constituents, advocacy groups and other lawmakers, four of my legislative proposals received public hearings:
- AB 397: relating to reporting requirements for recipients of economic development grants and loans
- AB 749: relating to high school instruction on blood and organ donations
- SB 647: relating to fraudulent claims for unclaimed property and providing a penalty
- AB 710: relating to Wisconsin Shares payments to tribal-regulated child care providers
The next step in the legislative process is for the bills to be voted out of their respective committees.
