I recently joined a number of my Republican colleagues to release a bill package that aims to protect Wisconsin from foreign adversaries.

No matter what side of the political aisle you fall on, we should all be on the same page when it comes to cracking down on groups – like the Chinese Communist Party – that seek to disrupt and negatively influence our American way of life.

The six legislative proposals that we are introducing focus on defending our state’s digital infrastructure, securing genetic data, limiting foreign interference at the Universities of Wisconsin, stopping the illegal trade of organs, enhancing penalties for transnational repression and refining state procurement practices.
