This is a message from Donald Trump
I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.
It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead.
I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear.
I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin.
Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.

The old Donald Trump had a very swift return of a massive rhetorical punch, but this is the new and improved version. Donald Trump must have had many thoughts like I had, one of them being, so sad that the shooter did not die a painful slow death. But Trump is a better man than me, and he will forever be at the top of my list of Heroes. This man is out working 24/7 to save America and a bullet that was three inches to the left on an instant death, could not intimidate him, great men are tenacious and fight to the end. I should save my thoughts until I know more, but I am commenting on what I know at this time about 6 hours after the incident. I am so thankful for Trump's survival, the people who protect him, and all of us who love America and are going to elect him in November. God bless America and our Constitutional Republic.

This was a very close call. Someone was listening to the months and years of irresponsible rhetoric and hate speech against President Trump and he tried to assassinate him as a result of that brain washing. From this day forward, any time a Leftist uses the words 'January 6' we will push back with 'WHAT ABOUT JULY 13 WHEN LEFTISTS TRIED TO ASSASSINATE A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?' I pray that God will fill the hearts of our enemies with love and exterminate the hate.
A heartbreaking day
Today, Sharon and I are praying for President Trump, for our country, and for those killed and injured at yesterday’s rally and their families.
As I’ve been expressing throughout my campaign, our country has become far too divided. We are all Americans. We have to come together as a country and heal.
