“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His name.” – Psalm 100:4

With Thanksgiving this week, I have spent some time reflecting on all the wonderful blessings of this year. Like the ending of verse one of the familiar hymn, “Count Your Blessings,” as I’ve looked back on 2024, I’ve been surprised by all that God has done! The blessings have been bountiful, both personally and organizationally. At Wisconsin Family Action and Wisconsin Family Council, our hearts are filled with gratitude to the Lord. It has certainly been a busy and momentous year, but also a blessing-filled one!

One blessing in my own life has been the opportunity to serve as president of Wisconsin Family Action and Wisconsin Family Council this year. I knew the role would be challenging, and I would have big shoes to fill. After speaking to hundreds of supporters like you, it has shown me how much of an impact this ministry has had on you as well as the broader state under Julaine’s leadership. I am also incredibly thankful for the continued support from YOU as we underwent this transition.

As organizations, we have much to praise the Lord for. One of our greatest blessings has been YOU! We are so thankful for our faithful partners who have prayed for us, helped us with projects, shared our messages, and given all to continue our joint mission (yours & ours) to strengthen, preserve, and promote God’s plan for marriage, family, life, and religious freedom. Without you, there would be no us, Wisconsin Family Action or Wisconsin Family Council! You are critical to continuing to influence Wisconsin for God’s glory. THANK YOU!

Through the blessing of your partnership, our organizations have experienced many wonderful things this year. We hosted the largest-ever LEAD Wisconsin camp. Our Church Ambassador Network (CAN) had great success meeting with elected officials and encouraging churches. Our CAN team provided election resources to over 1,000 churches statewide that inspired Christians to “Choose Well” in the November election. We saw many victories in the fall election. That’s just to name a few!

Beyond all we accomplish in Wisconsin together, I am thankful for blessings that aren’t so tangible. I am certainly thankful for the undeserved salvation Christ provided. I am grateful for the daily mercies He shows my family. I am thankful for the value and enjoyment of friends and family (of which I include you in!). I am thankful that we will be able to bring our entire family together for Thanksgiving in our new-to-us home. The blessings are certainly bountiful!

I pray that this week will be a restful, reflective, and enjoyable time with family and friends where Christ can be at the center for you and your family.
