Election Day is This Tuesday, April 1
This Tuesday, April 1, is Wisconsin’s Spring Election. Voters will choose the next justice of the state Supreme Court, either conservative Brad Schimel or liberal Susan Crawford. Voters will also determine the next Superintendent of Public Instruction. The race is between liberal incumbent Jill Underly and moderate challenger Brittany Kinser. A constitutional amendment seeking to enshrine Voter ID laws into the state’s constitution will also be on the ballot, in addition to other local elections.
A great resource for researching candidates is iVoterGuide, which analyzes candidates on your ballot through a biblical lens. You can also use MyVoteWisconsin to determine who will be on your ballot, find your polling place, and conduct independent research.
This is a momentous election for our state. The result of the Supreme Court race will determine the ideological balance of the Court for the next three years, which will impact school choice, abortion, Act 10, parental rights, and more. Please make a plan to vote on or before Election Day (early voting ends tomorrow in most municipalities) and encourage your friends and family to do so as well.
