As early in-person voting began this week in our state, Wisconsin clerks reported that they have already received over 360,000 absentee ballots for the upcoming election. Datafrom the Wisconsin Elections Commission shows that over 611,000 absentee ballots have been sent out, with about 59% returned so far, as seen in the VoteHub graphic above

This return rate for absentee ballots is already higher than in the 2020 election when early voting was used at a record-high rate due to pandemic restrictions.

Now that early in-person voting is underway, and with absentee ballots still available as well, it's time to make final plans for how you will cast your ballot on or before November 5.
