Last week, I joined USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins at Morning Star Dairy for a productive forum focused on strengthening Wisconsin agriculture and supporting our farmers.

Agriculture is the backbone of our Nation, and there is no better example than the Dairy State. From family farms to agricultural research institutions, Wisconsin continues to set the standard for feeding our nation and the world. Thanks to President Trump and Secretary Rollins, we are delivering real, measurable wins for farmers and rural communities:

As our nation observes National Police Week from May 11–16, 2026, it is important that we here in Monroe County pause to reflect on the service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the men and women who wear the badge. This week is set aside to honor those who protect our communities, remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty, and recognize the families who shoulder the quiet burden of worry every time their loved one walks out the door to serve.

Today is the 75th annual National Day of Prayer. This day provides Christians from across the country with a unique opportunity to lift their voices in united intercession before God for our nation. In Wisconsin, numerous prayer groups have planned to meet at churches, parks, courthouses, and various public locations for prayer throughout the day. Whether you join an organized group or pray as an individual or as a family, Wisconsin Family Action urges you to spend time in prayer today for our families, churches, communities, state, and nation.

After several years of failed attempts, I was finally able to get the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Modernization Act across the finish line this legislative session.

It took a lot of hard work and compromise, but I am pleased that qualified nurses can now operate at the highest scope of their practice, which is leading to increased healthcare access in rural areas and lower medical costs.

Last week, Sen. Mary Felzkowski and I, the co-chairs of the Joint Legislative Council, announced the anticipated Legislative Council Study Committees for this summer. These study committees offer the legislature an opportunity to do an in-depth look at issues around the state and allows us to include members of the public in the deliberation process. The topics for this year’s study committees will be:

Opinon: Was Maria Lazar's Loss A Self Defeating Prophecy?

Maria Lazar’s campaign was doomed long before she entered the race.

The most convenient narrative is to blame the state Republican Party or the candidate’s campaign for last month's Supreme Court loss. However, the real problem sits upstream: conservative print and talk radio which influences opinions – and the donor class - every single day.

Republicans across Wisconsin are uniting next week at the 2026 WisGOP Convention, our opportunity to endorse strong candidates, sharpen our winning strategy, and stand together as one powerful team.

Momentum is building across the state. Republican enthusiasm is surging, and it grows stronger every day.

Even greater energy is on the horizon. Our field team is mobilized and ready to hit the ground running, new initiatives are launching, and we are preparing a full-scale, coordinated effort to deliver victories up and down the ballot in November.

Turning a Blind Eye Toward COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Signals

This should be all over the news — it’s a blockbuster revelation.

On April 29, I held a hearing and released a report showing that Biden health officials knew that safety signals for COVID-19 injection injuries were being hidden by their VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) analytic algorithm.

Rather than alerting the public, they covered it up. It’s a grotesque abuse of power. People died and were permanently disabled because they were denied fully informed consent on the COVID injections.

With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, we pause to honor the daily, often unseen impact of mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in the lives of children everywhere. Their influence and love are irreplaceable. Mothers have the extraordinary calling of shaping the hearts and minds of their children. Their presence provides the security that frees children to explore, learn, and grow. Through everyday moments, moms are building a legacy.
